Mother
It is true: I am what’s left of you mother,
The heather and the fields, the blooms
Dusting their scent onto June
Whilst the earth sleeps.
Lessens the pace of the wind to a feather
A thumb-print of your skin,
That seems -deliberate in measure
And forces me to take a double breath.

memory
I guess we are the living memories of our families; you say a lot in a short space here. Well done, my friend.
Thanks Neo,
I like to think that our memories live on in others,
and that they are still very much with us.

It is absolutely great! Very influential. Make sure to check my newest one and spread the word plz?
A winter rose wilted, reflecting one's once cherrished love. Never will that flower again bloom after death.

Debs: such a beautiful, short, simple ode to your Mother.
I really enjoyed; thank you so very much! It actually made
me take a pause for breath!
I picked you for a buddy for a reason.--Joseph

She was a huge loss to us all, and I never want to forget how very beautiful she was.
