Pharaoh

I suppose it is the way he stares
What a thrill!
Eyelids that lose themselves in me
The smell of honey, and the smell of sleep
Curved, snailing muscles flexing
Bursting from the bone
Killer ribs -
That both please me and injure me
One wrong move and I’ll be done for
Incapable of walking.

His mouth opening and closing
Like a blessed temple.

Great take on it,

Love the imagination there.

Squirrels

The Ancient Egyptians were afraid of squirrels. Legend has it that one attacked a pharoah and bit off his ear. Squirrels were then banned from Egypt for thousands of years, and to this day aren't allowed in many Egyptian towns and cities.

Writing great as usual

Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself.
