Coffee, hot and bitter
Makes needy our lips. Our arms are entangled
Like vines inside the covers
Reaching out like greedy lovers -
Still holding onto sleep.

I know what you mean, I love coffee, too, but it does emobody the act of removing myself from bed, which is something I am often loathe to do. That arms entangled line is killer, though. You rock, Debs.
