I have the heart of a human; Selfish and greedy,
In mine own eyes I am the weak; I am the needy,
Even as I'm stronger than most; and richer than plenty,
But my struggles and pain still seem like many.

I hate hearing "It could be worse",
and I know there is desolation blanketing the earth,
But I long to be on top of the world,
Instead of being trapped down in the dirt.
