Naked

I fight and struggle to breathe,
No heart on my sleeve, My heart in your hands,
And how you make it beat,
Excites me so I can barley stand.

My soul open for the world to see,

epiphany

Nothing can ever be the same,
Opening your eyes for the first time,
The world is bright and strange,
Mountains arise, waiting for you to climb.

The gift of sight you've been given,

Sink or Swim

The sky grows dark,
The warm breeze becomes cold,
The light turns to shadows,
As the land awaits the fire from below.

Hands rise to the heavens,
And panic covers the earth like a stain,

Jesus Christ Our Lord

There is a secret,
Everyone should know,
How Jesus Christ died for us,
So up to Heaven we can go.

Christ descended from Heaven as a man,
But his earthly life was painfully lost,

In My Heart

Our father who lives in Heaven,
Oh, how I love you,
Your love so powerful,
And heart so true.

You saved us all from our sins,
You’re my strength and my song,

Greed

I have the heart of a human; Selfish and greedy,
In mine own eyes I am the weak; I am the needy,
Even as I'm stronger than most; and richer than plenty,

Untitled Cheesy Love Poem

My love, you are so wonderful,
so radiant and so beautiful,
and just as the ocean is deep and blue,
my love for you is strong and true.

I dream of you all the time,

Snowglobe

Trapped in a snow globe,
The snow globe in your mind,
Not the one with Frosty,
This is not the happy kind.

Snow never falls, only fire instead,
Down to the ground of coal,

Our Savior

The first poem I wrote(Nov/1999), I was 13 yrs old. I was written for and published in my church's bulletin.

Dear Lord,
I know you love me,
Through your great works,
This I see.

Forgiven

I am a saint
I am a sinner
I am a loser
I am a winner

I am the future
I am fate
I am a failure
I am a mistake

I am wrong
I am right
I am full of dark
I am full of light

I am lost

To End The End

The sun rises as it rises every morning in the east,
Then sets & goes to sleep in the evenings of the west,
Day after day, ever so monotonous as this life gets.

The Valley of Dry Bones

Derived from Ezekiel Ch. 13

The sun never rises,
In the valley.
They never open their eyes,
In the valley.

Remnants of the fallen litter the ground,
In the valley.

Sleep

The sun goes down, The voices come out
My body goes to sleep, But my spirit wakes up
The moon is my alarm clock, And its ringing all night

She Walked Through The Door

Trapped in a world of darkness,
In a world without sight,
She walked through the door,
And on come the lights.

Drowning in the ocean,
Forever sinking deeper without a care,

The Return

The sun rises,
And the dew falls,
I spend my days..
Waiting for her calls.

The desert sun bakes my face,
And rains make the way hard,
But every time I hear her voice,
