When will we suffer?
They say we arent in recession
the stock market has crashed,
They say where we sleep will not fall,
Most of us are or will be homeless soon

When will we suffer?
They say a depression is not amongst us
Our food and gas prices are unaffordable,
They say we need alternate energy sources,
But do nothing to move forward with the idea

When will we suffer?
They say everyone deserves medical coverage
Even though they are taking all of our money to help the rich,
They say the war is helping us
Yet most of our men are dead and iraq doesnt want us there

The quesion to ask is why are we suffering so when our government says we are not?
