Once in every lifetime a special place exist,
Where dreams are draped in shinning hue
In silver threads of mist.
It could be anywhere in the world
Amidst woodlands or by the seas,
Where dread and gloom easily vanish
As the unsoiled feet run free.

Within my heart is deep carved a niche,
An island paradise-
Gulls romancing the waves at morn,
Nestling ashore at eventide,
Along its sandy beach,
I reflect a pair of souls silhouette
As they pause and blend with the wind.

In silence both spoke sweetness aloud,
Etching a fleeting moment
Where only two understood
That life is short but fulfilling,
When lived in happiness
In each other's arms
Once upon a beautiful island.
