The Islamic Search For Knowledge

There is beauty in the Islamic search for knowledge.

Searching far and wide.

Searching to quench the thirst.

A thirst not for water but for knowledge.

The search is not voluntary
but obligatory.

An obligation for every Muslim.

The search can purify the heart and the mind.

Only Allah knows best.

The search can help create light from darkness.

The search can help create happiness from sadness.

The search can help bring order form chaos.

The search can create beauty from ugliness.

From the hills of the Iberian peninsula to the sand
dunes of the Arabian desert.

Muslims have searched for knowledge.

Inspired by Islam, many Muslims have taken the great journey.

The great journey to seek knowledge even as far as China.

Though the journey is long, it is also fruitful.

The search helped create a golden age of humanity.

An age where Muslims excelled in various disciplines.

Discovering what needs to be discovered and meeting those
that need to be met.

Travelling to those places that need to be travelled to and
seeing things that need to be seen.

All are a part of the great journey of seeking knowledge.

Success can only be achieved through hard work.

Indeed, Allah helps those that work hard.
