It was a weird day
The day of experience
The day I met him
The day I changed my outlook on life.

One day I heard a noise from a dark corner
“Think for yourself”

I’m scared of being lost in the darkness of ignorance
Never knowing where I am
Never knowing where I should be;
Being lost in the darkness for eternity.

I’m scared of being a nobody

The real powers
Are the hidden ones
That hide in the shadows
Deceiving, manipulating and plotting.

They have no conscience
They have no ethics
They have no principles

A is for Allah, the God of mankind.

B is for books which are more powerful than guns.

C is for courage which every hero has.

D is for destruction which you should always try to prevent.

There is beauty in the Islamic search for knowledge.

Searching far and wide.

Searching to quench the thirst.

A thirst not for water but for knowledge.

The search is not voluntary
