Why is all I see pitch black

Am I blind or is it that

Once again I’m lost in hate

Where the light can’t penetrate

My heart has turned black, cold, and numb

Where in my soul did this come from?

I think it came while in the dark

It’s trying to rip them all apart

Them as in my hard forged bonds

This of which I’m not quite fond

There’s nothing that can help me now

I have fallen too far down

My heart and head are so distraught

There must be things I never caught

Like I should just open my eyes

And kill the darkness from inside

Bring the darkness into light

So I can end the darkest night
