It's just me …

Always emptiness,
singularity personified.

Lonely solitude,
thoughts remain contained.

Enslaved in a prison without confines,
no hope of escape.

Leave me be to my ponderings,
I am the one and only.

is often self-imposed. i feel this one, ron. good write.

When I don't let anyone in

then I am left with myself. I don't mind being alone, I hate being lonely :( Thanks Neo for being there as a fellow poet and friend

~Passionate~

Ron,

Loneliness and contemplation can fuel passion and stir the God in you. Your words were well crafted; I have been to this quiet place.

I visit loneliness when I need to be alone to think. Sometimes it is better when we do not share. There is a season for reflection and a season for sharing. They compliment each other...right?

There is so much to think about and so much to be reconciled.

It is your depth of thinking that spurns your depth of character.

I like you buddy.

Warm regards,

Kathy

Many thanks Kathy

Meditation and soul searching is best done in quite contemplation. Though alone I no longer feel lonely since I have found a Higher Power. Thanks you so very much for your kind comments and words. I consider you a friend also :)

Ron...

just by writing this poem you have "let us in"

This is truly a great piece that speaks volumes...for us all.

pretty much in the end...we are left with just us

so its good to be comfortable with ourselves
this is a keeper Ron!
