Sunny Daze

Ron Kinard (c) 2009

starlight twinkling
misty dismay
fogged in, no light
no display

sunlight coming
get here soon
clear the skies
away, by noon

missing sunrise
disappoint
sunlight coming
will anoint

blue skies lurking
Heaven's gaze
winds are blowing
fog and haze

clouds and rain
there's been enough
come on sunshine
show your stuff

a little warmth, a little light
a sunny day so fine
misty gray just go away
I want to see the sunshine

Well damn it

I have had enough with this winter dull cloudy rainy cold drab dreary weather. Common Sunshine eat some Jimmy Dean Sausage, drink that glass of Tropicana OJ and smell the Dunkin Dounuts coffee and get your ass back up in the sky

I want to see the sunshine too :)

Nice write Ron

The only time I look down on another is when I am bending to help them up.

Not Mozart or Di Vinci

I was a little rushed having to share a computer. Rain is great but the gray gets old, we all need color in our lives. Thank you all for the kind comments and for taking the time to read. Hopefully this will bring a little sunshine and maybe some hope to someone!~Ron

Hopeful

I know what you mean, this winter's been really long...and still is, we all need some sun :D I enjoyed reading it, there's such an easy flow throughout :) ♥

Couldn't live without it

I lived in the UK for a while and the toughest thing about it was the lack of sunshine. I can totally sympathize with your feelings here, Ron K. Lack of sun can be very depressing.

hey there ron k....

I love this write...
as jewel said...it has great flow to it.
I'm off to north africa in the summer, I cant wait...mind you, I'll be crying for the rain after a week I bet,lol
thanks 4 sharing this delightful piece with us.

Sunny Daze

This is a beautiful poem and so visual. Refreshing
like a Spring day, waiting patiently to be woken.

Our words know us better than we know ourselves...

The rain is gone...

... I hope? Spring has sprung around here, more sunny poems to come! Thank you all for the read and very kind comments, hope your days ahead are sunny and warm and all of your travels safe!~Ron
