Life’s a Beach

stretched out on a beach
no care within the world
the amazing form beside me
is my favorite girl
pounding surf and seagulls
sweet music to the ear
oh, the beach time melody
is all you need to hear
white sand between the toes
the water, not too cold
beautiful daily lifestyle is
more precious than gold
sunsets like no other
sunrise, amazing too
such an astonishing sight
a wonderful thing to do
iced tea or a cold beer
maybe a tasty freeze
no matter where you are
it is better by the seas
hand in hand on the shore
enjoying all the smells
body surfing on the waves
picking up sea shells
seafood like no other
fresh in, every day
every moment, an adventure
each and every way
kicked back on a recliner
everything’s in your reach
it can only prove that
life is just a beach

I start getting beach fever and keep it! (actually I never lost it from the first time I remember the beach at age 3) With the sun back around here, the breeze blowing it makes me want to be walking in the sand and enjoying the water and the rays.
