losing the facade of life

lying down in his room
breaking down the walls of his mind
trying to unravel what it was
that never seemed right about the world
like something was missing
Like looking at puzzle
with pieces missing
but finally in his mental deconstruction
he had a revelation
he knew there was only one thing
he could ever truly have faith in
In truth he only knew one thing now
all reality was only one thing
all the sorrow he had seen
was all an illusion
his whole life
was all an illusion
One he believed
one everyone seemed to believe
the world around him
now was not a collection
of things trying to interact
and survive
but just one
in all things
acting in symphony
a delicate but unbreakable
connection between all things
because now he knew
the divine was not
a person to be worshipped
but was the very life that
all things depend on
and he recited silently
“my every breath is God
every step I take upon God
my very soul is God
If they only knew how close they are
to everything they ever desired.”
then he smiled and walked out into the world
