"Forget about the Dogs and Cats!"

"Forget about the dogs and cats! Let's spay
And neuter liberals!" they like to cry;
And maybe not a few, I'm sad to say,
If given half a chance would like to try.
And was it not their cheerleader indeed,
Who, hearing in the crowd she'd helped incite,
A call for killing, did not cease to feed
The rage, as if his murder would be right?
But then again, just what should one expect
From those who listen to the likes of Rush,
Whose neurons tend so seldom to connect?
The only times their brains are more than mush,
They try to frighten old folks in their flannels
With damnable deceit about "death panels."
