Dream Time

My silent soul doth softly slumber
Caressing me so warm within
As I lay feeling waking wonder
I know I must return, ascend.

Being me, yet more than "me"
I question not my knowing
A peace transcending sets me free
Upon my journey going.

I stir again from nightly dreams
And wonder what is real
For I was "there" or so it seems
In other worlds to feel.

Shadows moved behind my eyes
Revealing whisper's light
A jolt of thought within me cries
Safe in love, dispel the fright.

I climb towards the light I saw
And search in silver seas
I sail beyond the icy thaw
Seeking waves I can believe.

Upon your echo's star, I came
And felt your spirit near
Above the mansions that remain
I called your name for you to hear.

Your soul replied in silent thought
Divinely soft of Heaven's light
Our spirits joined in oneness sought
And sailed above in love's delight.

Gathered from reunions home
We saw our lives all known before
Our choice to stay or maybe roam
As Spirit opened another door.

Before me, you were in the past
And soothed my tears of Earthly woe
But now we know the first is last
And as above is so below.

We'll meet again beyond this time
And maybe take another vow
But while our thoughts embrace, sublime
Let us enjoy the here and now.

dreams

this poem invokes a sensation of melting into deja vu, as if experencing the exact same 'dream' at the same time..very errie, and almost humerous as this poem is born of years and insights and self awarenss that is acutely enerving. Had to read it several times to sort thru the deepest innuendos to reach the hidden realities. A real soul jerking. Appreciation for your sharing this with us. Fond regards, Ezmerelda...Only regret is not having the opportunity to discuss this over coffee. Oh, woe.
