Trust like a child and brake like glass
As her childhood smashed into pieces
Seeing all her confidence peering back
Broken beneath her feet

So this life we lead-the of human evolution

This life we lead
Victims of our ancestors’ greed
This lie we’re being led
This world we’re being fed
Pushed along we ride this wave

Starry starry night
Angels of the sky are shining bright
The air moist and fair
Calmly whistling by
The wind has no care
Rushing past
Without a moment to spare
Silently but fast

Judgment

Overhead, the sky shows a vast light blue
In the distance the darkness lurks
But it’s the light you pursue
A dark cloud spoils the horizon

Born into this world
Kicking and screaming
Whining and bleeding
Skin gleaming
Attention needing
Blinded by the light
Scared by the dark
Wrapped in white
Cuddled
Held tight

A mild form of jealously
A self conspiracy
An uneven view
Bent, mislead by you
Insecurity supplied as fuel
Allowing evil to rule
Sharpening your tool
Ready to strike

Two souls split in two
Magnetised then sent apart
Separated at birth
Fired out across the oceans
Deep within the blue
Far below the surface
Hidden away
Within the human race

Staring up in vain
Feeling less than humane
Concentration strains your face
Heart thumping at full pace
Your focus is broken,
All of a sudden
The breeze swirls, catching your eye

Gazing up from this sandy place
All that can be seen,
enriched from light reflected down
Photons being fired all around
Without a single sound
Relentlessly bombarding the ground

Pain produces scars, pressed in, scolding and hard
Leaving you soft and tender
The agony you will always remember
An image, all that is visible, all that is left

Life is, was and has been everything
An infinitive series of slices
Captured in a continuous stream of time
Seduced and frozen within an instant
