The shadows fear his presence and he stands perfectly created.
Malik al Mowt is he....The Angel of death, unappreciated.
His purpose? To take your life away, no matter what you do or say,
He'll attend this appointment weather you're sleep or awake.
His job? To insure your death, you're life and soul he will take.
No bribes will he take, or money you make,
No mercy he'll show when it's your time to go.
No turning back time, deleting a crime,
No sorries to tell, No soul to sell.
Malik al Mowt is he, to take us all, you and me,
His mission, to bring every soul back to see,
To see who they were, to know they were seen.
By the greatest of all, our Supreme Being.
And their souls shall be snatched from their flesh like silk dragged through thorns,
They will witness the Angel, Malik al Mowt, some say he'll have horns.
What ever he looks like, depends on each soul and its deeds.
And depending on that, which road Malik leads.
And to those who believed and to those of pure age,
They shall not see this fear nor feel its rage.
For those who repented and those who died in His cause,
For those who obeyed and those who followed His laws.
Those fortunate to protect themselves from a horrific fate,
Are those who mended their ways, when it was not yet too late.
Their soul will pour from their body like a tear from the eye,
This is what they feel when they meet Malik, and just as they die.
He will be beautiful and calming to see,
The Angel of death to set your soul free.
Many fear Malik but they are foolish to dread he is near,
Because if Malik fears God, then we should know who to fear.
He carries out orders, long ago arranged and prepared.
And we will drown in our fear, when in life no one cared.
Malik is not the baddie here and neither is our Creator,
We only fear what is to come cuz we save our excuses for later,
But there is no excuse, is there?
We were greedy when God was fair!
We polluted and drank and killed,
And with arrogance and pride our hearts we filled.
And no one forced upon us this fate,
But ourselves and our deeds is what boils this hate.
And Malik? Well Malik is lucky, He was created to serve and obey,
He doesn't choose what to do or when to take our lives away,
He is merely a loyal servant who does what he's told,
An Angel of death, forever strong, never to grow old,
Unless of course his Creator willed,
that one day His Angel of death should be killed.
Oh Malik al Mowt, although you can never cheat,
Pray I don't feel the fire and my Lord I will meet.
Supplicate for me, if you can hear,
Ask for God's mercy, before my time is too near.
And I know God can hear me and knows how I feel,
We connect every day when I bow and I kneel.
Malik I don't fear you but I fear my life's load.
I fear what my soul deserves, I fear my chosen road.
Where will you take me once you've emptied my shell,
Malik al mowt, am I destined for hell?
Have I destroyed every chance and glimmer of hope,
Will God show me more mercy, and again throw down His rope.
Will I take it and will I succeed?
Will I give my soul what it needs?
Malik you know not my fate until my Lord commands I be dead.
You know not how I'll die but wait for the very second it's said.
My heart Allah, it feels your mercy, from every hardship came ease.
I tell you Im lonely as I cry on my knees.
I raise my hands in a state of fear,
Not knowing if my time is near.
I beg of you my Lord of all,
Lift me high before I fall.
Let my appointment with Malik be sweet and of beauty.
On my day, let kindness and mercy be his only duty.
