Right now someone's laughing,
Right now someone's crying.
Somewhere someone's being born,
And someone else is dying.
Right now someone's taking,
And someone else is giving.
Someone somewhere is making.
And someone is wishing they weren't living.
Someone is concealing, while another is revealing,
Someone is being burgled, and someone else is stealing.
Somewhere someone is feeling full, another is feeling empty,
Someone is scraping around for scraps, while someone's food is plenty.
So many of us everywhere, and yet we still don't seem to care,
The cold cruel fact that we will be someone sometime somewhere.
