AS I PRAY BEFORE YOU...
I raise my hands and submit to You.
I bow like I recover from a race.
I prostrate humbling my soul so blue.
I witness Your mercy and Your grace.
And when the sky is closing down and the soil beneath me dries.
You my Lord will know what's best and shower mercy from the skies.
I am but Your slave and I live only to please You always.
And when I'm weak, forgive me as You do in Your kind ways.
And when I stand up from my knees and my breath is light and easy.
I know that there's a place for me thats warm and mildly breezy.
Here I stand with Your words in my mouth and skipping off my tongue.
and no matter where I am in life ....before You I'm forever young.
The sense of ease and comfort Your book brings into my life...
In the times I needed it most, like when I was failing as a wife.
when my family struggled with sickness and my heart it seemed too broken.
It was all I needed in my hand, The words of God forever spoken.
I only wish that others could relate to what I boast about.
A prayer and Book, if they'd only take a look,
and all doubts would soon blow out.

The Mercy of Allah in Regard to Forgiveness
Allahs forgiveness and mercy is far greater and more vast than the sins of the creation. One must always have trust and hope in Allah in both good times and bad times and especially when seeking Allahs forgiveness. And the believer who calls out to his Lord for forgiveness demonstrates his true weakness and that he is totally dependent on the Creator. When one confesses his sins to Allah and sincerely repents with hope in Allahs mercy, the heart should come to peace and the soul should feel rest. When a person has hope, he has no reason to despair because it only leads to destruction. Allah gives hope to all, especially those who despair that there is no reason to despair because Allah is the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy. Allah praises those who repent and turn to Him:
And those who, when they commit a lewd act or wrong themselves with evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sinsand who forgives sins except Allah? And they do not persist in what (wrong) they were doing while they knew it. For such, the reward is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens with rivers flowing through, wherein they shall abide forever. How excellent is the reward of the doers (of good)! (Surah Ali Imran 3:135-136)
sadaq Allahull 'adheem
thank u once again for your input and I ofcourse agree with everything u said.
Allah is fogiving and has more mercy for his slave than a mother for her child.
Allah reminds us again and again to repent and seek only His mercy....for no one else can beat His mercy.....To Allah we belong and to Him we return!
its amazing, I know a christian girl who comes to the mosque and studies Islam close up......she said to me.....the muslims prayer is like a form of yoga....hehehe
its very true ,for the prayer we preform (which can take 10 minutes) is soothing
to the lungs and heart and stretches the bones and body and helps with blood circulation and when we postrate we touch pressure points that therapists would be familiar with......As Allah has said my brother.....we will see the proof every day and we will witness His wisdom and Love for us.........
little do people know that the prayer does not benefit Allah, it benefits the soul and body of the one who is praying.....Allah gave us this gift of prayer so that we could heal our hearts, ease our souls, correct our thoughts, regret our sins, and repent so that we may live in peace with ourselves....without prayer we are lost and its not hard to believe when u see the point I make here on this site....
so many lost people....May they find peace....ameen.
