‘Our country, we long to be free.’
Tonight’s assignment states the enemy is not marked to die.
A well armed team of U.S. Army Rangers arrived on the beach shore.
In a distant country, a hard rain fell out of the night sky.
From the drop off point their target is not too far.
Silently, the first sergeant gives the orders to the men.
He says that we are here to pick up an evil dictator.
I am assigned as the point and told what to do as I go in.
After I talk to the informer, I will catch up with the team later.
Quickly to informant’s house, I cautiously walked.
Ten away, two guards walked down the road to meet me.
For about five minutes, the guards and I stand there and talked.
They wanted to know who I had come to see.
The guards informed me that the informant will come out later.
Moments later, an officer is slowly escorted out to see me.
He cautiously asks, ‘You buy information on the location of our dictator.’
‘Please take him away because our countrymen, we long to be free.’
The officer informed me about the dictator’s secret hideout,
He said there are always four guards standing outside his door.
As a rewarded for what he said, I give him his five million in gold.
After he looked at the gold, he added, ‘there is an escape route in the floor.’
Meanwhile, four of the men crawled up to the hideout.
One sniper was assigned to sit hidden just inside the tree line.
The rest of the team was waiting as a scout checked the area out
I arrived to the hideout in the boat my team had left behind.
I ran to the first sergeant down the beach about a half of a click.
I detailed to him the information about the route through the floor.
I quickly added, ‘He will be scared and will have to take it.
I think we should grenade the men at the beach house door.
Just two hours after the team arrived to the distant beach shore.
The team arrived to the pick up location with the dictator in hand.
It was another covert operation job well done just like before.
The U. S. Army Rangers came and successfully captured their man.
