Being a seafarer is not only a profession-
You can travel around the world for free at the same time
working and earning enough…
But it shoulders big sacrifices in return-
Sacrifices to be with someone special…
Sacrifices mostly being with your family…
But still were here…
Still keep digging the mystery behind…
Behind the thousand years were waves so unkind,
Were waves humming usher with twisting wind,
Sleepless mind nowhere to hide-
hiding in the dark so creepy when drained eyes is blind.
Seagull’s slithering in the humid air,
Flocking with mourning tunes; jam-packed of despair,
Yearning endeavors as time is greedy,
Greedy to chomp every nerves of lonesome body.
Noise ricochet in every corner of my room,
A mimic of music bouncing so badly like
a bunch of thorns-
thorns that create fear…
leading soul to sear.
No one could hear you screaming…
Typically, no one could lend a shoulder when you need to,
Let loose every clear of water droplets as emotions flow,
Minimizing feelings fleetingly as use to deep-grow.
Life at sea is full of mystery at you see,
Heart may grief-stricken, mind and body is numb-
no place for flee,
More pains, sacrifices and heartaches…
Memories counted so greatly-
so greatly since withstanding the
millstones can’t be bought for free.
But I thank the Creator above all,
For sharing me the once in my lifetime adventure at sea-
the waves swell that seldom whack peculiarly,
soothing me in all my worries when I’m far away,
far away to my love ones will always keep me stay…
