That rabbit rascal
The rabid riff raff raged,
as the rabbit raced, the rascal.
They radiated ridicule,
sounding like a rambling ragtime.
Still that rakish rabbit
resisted, ramming
through the ramshackle ranch.
Rancid rancor expelled from the rally,
They shouted about that rapscallion rabbit.
The ranger was rangy but this
rabbit was rankling her
as he ransacked the range.
Still she had a rapt rapport
for that rascal rabbit,
realizing it was ravenous.
She needed a receptacle for
this recalcitrant rascal to end
the reign of the rabbit, thus
rebuilding the ranch.

the queen of alliteration!
raskin, you are truly the goddess of alliteration. Well done, I tried to count all your poems that tackle this very difficult genre - back to the beginning of March it looks like 18 though that might be understating it by a couple. Remarkable! And they are all very amusing and readable. Keep up the good work!
joyce
thank you
I hope I am getting better at it. I have a great time writing these, I love the sounds of the words and injecting humor, I'm trying to create a story too but that is a work in progress. Thank you for reading. raskin
