heart in the sand

tenderness in eyes
a touch of a gentle man
delicate feelings
my finger draws heart in sand
water wash footprints away

I grew up on a beach, built many sand castles, drew a lot of pictures in the sand, a few hearts as well. I watched them all wash away. Footprints in the sand are fascinating, the detail that is left before they are finally washed away, the tides do their work. I'm wordy today. raskin
