Did Michael Jackson molest children?
Accusations against Michael Jackson ruined many people’s hopes and dreams.
I decided to wait until the fray calmed down on Michael Jackson before I told my story of how I knew him. I am a toy and doll designer, in the early nineties after coming out with his hit song “Heal the world,” Michael Jackson had formed then formed a heal the world campaign. I was working on my doll I invented named “The choices girl.”
After hearing his beautiful song and lovely dream of healing the children, I felt it would be a wonderful thing to work in conjunction with his campaign. I send my presentation to the officials at the “Heal the world” offices; my presentation, portfolio and ideas were ran past Michael loved the doll, the idea and everything that went with it.
My doll THE CHOICES GIRL was designed to be a positive role model for children, sort of a national good girl campaign. At the time I had marched my doll all through toy land and everyone told me “the road was littered with dead dolls.” While many loved my doll, it had become clear –without a major player, or a licensing agreement with a cartoon movie producer, it would be impossible to bring this doll to the market. While my doll passed every test – market with children and everyone loved it, the bottom line was I needed a name to back it or a licensing agreement for a cartoon. Every time I would get the doll in front of decision maker the answer was the same, no one can compete with Barbie and every toy company that tried failed losing millions.
At the time I was in the process of presenting my doll to Tyco Toys, (it was the third largest toy company in the world). Mattel Inc. now owns Tyco. I was told during my presentation if I could get a celebrity endorsement with the HEAL THE WORLD campaign–, they would manufacture the doll. Within one-week accusations of Michael Jackson, molesting a child came out. Of course, I did not want to believe this, regardless it lost my chance for producing my doll. I still wanted to believe there was no truth to these allegations and I have held strong to my conviction they were not true.
For weeks I tried to call to call the Heal the world foundation, finally I reached someone there, the woman told me Michael was beside himself in grief and the whole campaign was disbanding.
I think in life we all have circumstances of things that happen that forever change our hopes, our dreams and visions as artists. I believe after this Michael was never the same. It has been obviously to me as an observer it was after that Michael began to disfigure himself, after that he was never the same.
Today finally a writer and film maker came out with a tell all book, in his interview online he revealed after many years of research he thus far has found no evidence to support the fact Michael Jackson – ever molested a child. I have sat online for the last few weeks reading horrible comments, and terrible harsh words on the Internet and frankly, I am enraged, and I am sickened by the rudeness of society in general. We are hearing too many stories of how everyone around Michael took him for money and were leaches.
I believe if this story never came out, I would have manufactured my doll, and I believe Michael Jacksons Heal the world campaign would have helped many starving children everywhere. Because this was his vision, it was my vision and many others.
Shame on you world for destroying this beautiful person, and God forgive us all for thinking this of this beautiful man. I am so sad this all happened this way because it ruined my life’s work, my life’s visions to help the children and bring forth a good role model image, it is obvious to me the world lost way more than people realize because Michael Jackson. Moreover, this gossip and horrible news ruined the hopes and dreams of many of us who were in the process of doing positive things to heal the world.
For you Michael and for all the children we dreamed to heal.
May your name be cleared and our visions of a better world- someday be-- found!

Twisted fate pounds at our doors
We allow it in to settle life’s scores
Sales people with poisonous snares
Marketing hate for the world to wear
A bag of lies borrowed from a den of deceit
Intoxicating the masses to feel the heat
Heartless mongers with fiendish pride
Igniting fires as Satan’s tour guides
Jeers and sneers to entertain masses
Slander spoon fed in dark molasses
Toxic commentary buzzing like bees
Laughing at death and those that grieve
Catching souls in media nets
Feasting on the lonely and unjust bets
Trying to get a piece of the world's pie
By putting out its children's eyes
The weight of the world does not sit with man
It is indignant to make one’s life an utter sham
The constant roar and media blur
Is nothing more than the devil’s bur
Feel the bur and ridicule other’s monumental strife
And you will be headed for hell with a sentence for life

Terri,
I am with you. It is painful to watch Michael Jackson's life story be obliterated by hateful people.
Michael contributed joy to this planet, and no one should rob his children of his legacy. I do not
respect the tone of our media today. They have gone too far, and too far is not a good place to be.
We need to turn off the static of the airwaves, and come to terms with our own private feelings about Michael.
Michael does not deserve to be stoned by self-centered media personalities.
May God bless and keep him, and his children of the world. "We are the world, we are the children..."
Maybe you could still market your doll for Michael's fans, and deliver the proceeds to heal the world. I would support you in this great effort.

Thank you for your comments- just so my writing did not lose it’s meaning I wanted to ensure everyone did read what I wrote. – I would like to mention my doll THE CHOICES GIRL was created way- before Michael Jackson’s heal the world campaign. And while his song did inspire me to ask him to endorse it- the doll otherwise had nothing to do with Michael Jackson. And no one gives away their life’s work to charity, the doll was set to give a portion to charity – at first the doll- was set to give money to the mercy ships- and the donations where matched by the manufacturer- and the person who purchased it. While I was inspired by his song- and had hoped a celebrity endorsement would help it. It is my doll, and my idea- I loved Michael Jackson, I danced my first dance to one of his songs in junior high. I am very careful with idolatry. I do not worship any celebrity – I just respected the man and his vision, genus in the art of music. Thank you for your comments.
