~ A Sliver of Silver ~
Gently
Falling from
The midnight sky
A sliver of silver
Dropped
Into my
Open palm;
Slowly
It melted
Into a little
Silver pool
Caressing
Each fold,
Each crease;
Quiescent in quietude,
Coalescing
With the warmth
Of my hand;
There it rested.
A smile
Lit up my face
In gratitude
For this small
Gift of the Moon.

Exquisite
Great use of alliteration, the way it flowed was beautiful and unique, a real gem of a poem...♥
