COAT of FLAMES
He wears a coat of flames
And has a dignified air;
The way in which he walks
You cannot help but stare.
Don’t go too near for fear
He might make you weak
For in the presence of his beauty
In words of poetry you’ll speak.
What majesty on four feet,
What power to inspire,
Such a special, rare Tiger
Wearing his coat of fire!

Great Read
Paul,
You certainly got me with the ending of this piece. Who could argue the majesty of this fearsome cat?

Tiger Tiger burning bright!
something special in that quote, eh? My favourite animal, I've been wanting to write a poem for ages about a tiger. No way thought it would turn out like this. I'm pleased with this creation. So pleased you like it too Pete. Your feedback is always appreciated.

Your poem mirrors the majesty of the tiger. He indeed has a regal, dignified presence. Beautifully descriptive.
