Monsoon Eve

Yet another monsoon,
Yet another month of June.
I’m alone, vowed
Will not be lonely.
Another cloudy moon,
Another melancholy tune.
I’m here, wandering
Without you somewhere.
Another desired boon,
Praying you’d come soon.
But I’m certain, like many rains before
Your vacuum words will drench
My hopes, and yet another monsoon,
Yet another month of June.
