Lies Revealed: Brooklyn

That conversation was completely unplanned.
I started off thinking I was going
To talk.
Mercedes and I,
My best friend.
I was wrong.
Mercedes told me her whole life story.
I hate admitting I was right on this one,
But she confirmed a lot I already thought.
Mercedes' dad does beat her,
I told her I had known
And it seemed to make her feel
More comfortable.
I guess she gained some trust from it.
Maybe that's what provoked me to her,
Maybe it was a spur of the moment decision.
Whatever it was,
It came like lightening.
I told her everything.
Even about my suicidal thoughts,
And so developed, "The Plan."
