Split

Our group has split
And it just doesn't seem right.
Roxanne's death kind of shocked us all.
She had a heart attack
Due to anorexia and possibly bulimia.
They said they'd been telling her
For a long time and yet,
She never listened.
Now she's gone and we're split.
Our little group of four always was though.
Brooklyn and I,
Roxanne and Chloe.
Tess always mingled with everyone.
My friendship with Brooklyn
Is weird.
She's known the others forever
Yet she's friends with me,
And only me now,
Because we split.
It's been a month
And Roxanne's not coming back.
At least we got each other,
Brooklyn and I.
We can't tell each other everything though,
Can we?
