I had wanted to open up
and so I let go

But now I have control

They say go with what got you there
but it's time to bring in the relief

And not to be arrogant
but I think that just as the parable of the mustard seed
that now there is the tree
where there is room and shade
and others I think might not now have to pay the price
that at first was needed for the road to be paved

I allowed the darkness to come forth
just as the good
I was in training
and in discipline
And though I spoke against consequence
I would still...
that people would listen

Along the way
things pile up
and the narrow road
requires that you don't stop

That's why I had to also let in the attacks of darkness
to be able to possess the good
just like in commands and words
and just as what I spoke
good or bad
stood

However,
I had the preparation and work of victory
and all things were worked for me
I didn't just go and mock Jesus
or betray Him to the tree

These things were the beginning of the time of testing
as spoken in Revelation
to the Thyatiran church

They were the time of the imagination
and by letting the tares grow up with the grain
the grain was not chanced
and the tares were still ready to be taken

It's not that I did evil so that good would come
or sinned so that grace would abound

I just had to play it fair
and now the victory
is just that much more authentic
as darkness was thus nearly given the opportunity to take stalk in the ground

Praise God for the time of love
and the time of the remaining of what's sound
