The sin of loneliness

What a lonely October this year!
Even poplars seem humble and sad.
Every calendar sheet that I tear
Deepens hues of this brownish red
That the city has wrapped itself in
To make sure it is safe from the sin.

Yes, a sin! That's what loneliness is.
It's a crime to be left to survive
On the crossroads, attacked by the breeze
Overdrowning the scream: "I'm alive!"
Then you come to the point you're alone
In a crowd with grimaces of stone.

Leaves keep falling embracing the ground
Where I lie, looking up at the blue,
At these beautiful poplars around...
If it's wrong to be crying for you,
Then I guess I'm a sinner, my dear.
What a lonely October this year!

Very Good

This is very good. Being lonely is a hard thing. Trust me I know the feeling. Eventually though you will find someone and you will be very happy.
