Freedom Bound
Ring of green round melting pearl
Fountain streams up to the sky
Drowns my past as waters swirl
Memories go drifting by.
Images that were my past
Oppressively, my mind, they'd rake
To the waves, like stones, I cast
And watch them sink below this lake.
My new life starts from this point on
Freed of chains that held me down
Those stormy clouds now all have gone
My karmic ship is freedom bound.

Was sitting by the lake next to the Florida condo I'm living in, staring at the fountain in the middle of the lake and felt a profound change in my life. Decided to let go of my past and its feels so much better.
