Forgive me God
I turn to you on my darkest moments
Crying to you with desperation
Begging you to bless me and help me out
Yes, I'm full of shame and embarrassment
I'm embarrassed for multiple reasons
Not only do I ask for too much
But I remember you to ask for too much
I beg your pardon, for I'm not the perfect human
I've decided to change my habits and lifestyle
I'm tired of hiding so much from my mother
I'm sick of choosing the wrong men
I'm exhausted of all this nonsense
God, now I plead for your forgiveness
I swear it was never my intention
Today I want to take my time to thank you
Thank you for such amazing parents and friends
I love you

What a wonderful piece of Christian poetry - I loved it. I think you have written what a lot of Christians feel in their hearts, but are too shy to share. One small thing: In the 2nd stanza, last line, I believe it should read 'I beg your pardon'. I admire your courage, openness and honesty in publicly penning this pensive poem. A great write!
