Sunbitten
The Sun eats at the corpse in the grass
Whose wristwatch cracked broken doesn't forget
Chilling winds of a passing moment glide vagrant northwest
Where the smiles of vanity shatter broken mirrors
Polariods of chaos...
Asteroids upon a dusty horizon...
Dipping toes into frozen lakes like lollipops
The flaccid funeral pyre cackles softly
It's new here
Go get a bicycle

Thanks, Repenter. I was just about to comment on your Abyss piece. I loved the darkness and fear. It reminded me of thoughts I had as a child being afraid of the dark. As for this one, the last line just came subconsciously, so I don't really know the meaning myself. I think it means to try and get away from death, even though it's not possible. At least something like that. NSF
yeah, I get it.brave, and I like it......
the fact that you just wrote what felt right shows that you're not a false writer, you dont just write what you think others would like to read, but more so, what you want them to read, which in my opinion, is the best way.....respect 2 u......peace
