when the weight of the world
seems to be weighing me down
i like being in my room
no one around
the silence brings about a stillness
in my mind, i'm not thinking
just blessed by no stress or sounds
working hard from day to day
taking care of my family
doing things the right way
so many sacrifices made
thats ok, as long as i can have
calmness at the end of the day
bills are due, money is tight
i gotta keep working

calm all storms in my life
i can focus, stay on track
and know that all will be alright

the storm, lifts up the clouds
brings out the sun
along with soul moving music
i forget about what was wrong
i love my time alone
it is like my best friend
it never lets me down
here i am, in my room
relaxed as can be
letting the silence ease my mind
