Into the land where the river flows
Let me walk in step with thee
thru trails,and paths,and valleys low.
Across the boulders,mountains high...
into the land where the river flows.
All journeys seem less then a mile
when in you i rest a while.
I remember...
When travel weary and full of strife,
I first drank the cup of life.
I couldn't then first tell
how and when I had cast off the shell,
my feet suddenly was unfettered free
dancing to a different beat,
from a tainted past so sore
which I couldn't ignore before,
but when i gulped the drink of life
I felt a searing as tho a knife....
i knew something had broken free,
i just didn't know it was me!
