Fung Sui
Fung Sui
(c) 2006 Mark Pearce
Let’s build a purple mountain
On the Spanish plain
And move the cliffs of Dover
Over.
Let’s train a giant sequoia
Up a golden chain
And paint an isthmus with
Clover.
Let’s grow a tangled thicket
On dry and drifting sands
And seed fresh fungal spores
Beneath those twisted, twiney hands.
Emergent green will lift you up
And chi will let you soar.
The planet Earth be glorified
The Universe will roar.
