GYPSY WOMAN

Gypsy women
Has put a spell on me
Her dark complexion
Her dark brown eyes
With her black silken hair
Waving in the air
Her dance
And her music
Has me in a trance
Just one glance

SCAREYSQUIREL(Debs)

It’s sad to hear
You are leaving
Going to miss
Your poems
And odes
The happiness
The sadness
Quirkiness
You wrote

Your one
Of many
I admire
And will
Hear from you
Soon

CREATIVE THOUGHTS AWAIT

A plain peace of paper
Sits upon my desk
Waiting for some
Creative thoughts
To enter my head
Rhymes and Poetry
Fables and Stories
Fantasy and Adventure
Reality and Truth

THIS WORLD THIS BRITAIN

The world of today
What a fearful place
Ruled by the human race
Gang cultures growing every day
With guns and knives
Drugs are rife
Killing lives
It’s just not safe
Our towns and cities

ROMANCE 1

Petals of red roses
Adorn the floor and bed
Scented candles
Lit around the edge
Romantic music
Easy on the ear
Food of love
Cooked with care
A glass of wine
Ruby red

YOUR KNIGHT

I’m
Your knight
In
Shining armour

I
Will protect you
In
Every way

When
Ever you seem
To
Be troubled

I
Will not
Be
So far away

Just
Call out
My
Name

And I
Will

ONE DAY

One day

I will make it

To the top

And all beneath me

Will flock

I’ll laugh at them

And mock

Remind them

Of the hell

And grief

I got

So be aware

WILLOW

Where has Willow gone
Her poems have all gone too
I loved reading her poems
A peep into
Willow’s
Colourful world
One of many poets
I really do admire
Will sadly miss
Her creativeness

WORLD WAR ONE REMEBERD

Remember

The eleventh hour

Of

The eleventh month

Of

The eleventh day

World war one

Came to an end

Of

Bloody battles

Solders lives

Were slayed

DARK STRANGER

Gun fighter
A stranger so dark
Comes to our town
Upon
A dapple grey horse
Spurs of silver
Tied to his boots
Dark tan leather made
His gun
Always ready to shoot
If people get in the way

LOST

Home is where the heart is
That’s what people say
But in some certain cases
It is not always the way
They just can’t seem to settle
Always on their way
Flitting
From one place

NEW YEAR

A year becomes of age
A New Year
To takes its place
Always hope
For better things
To come
Resolutions made
Promises are said
But never
Ever kept
A hope
For world peace
For fighting

GIFT FROM GOD

A bright star
Shines tonight
Over
Little ol Bethlehem
Ti’s a wondrous sight

In the meadows full of sheep
Shepherds watch in the night
While they sleep
When low and behold

INDIAN TRIBES MAN

He stands tall and proud

His tribesmen all around

A hunter and protector

A provider to all

A wise man to the young

A master of tribal law

A master of the bow

JOSH

Just met my grandson

Oh what a great delight

Full head of hair

And big blue eyes

You forget how small

And light they are

And how delightfully they play
