A bright star
Shines tonight
Over
Little ol Bethlehem
Ti’s a wondrous sight

In the meadows full of sheep
Shepherds watch in the night
While they sleep
When low and behold
Out of the nightly sky
The angel Gabriele
Shines so bright
Appeared to them
With great might

Low and behold
And listen well
The lord gifts a son
Upon the world

The shepherds arise
And away they go
To see the baby
In a mangier
Of straw
And wrapped in robes

Not far away
Where three wise men
Kings who followed the star
They bared gifts
Of Frankincense
Myrrh and Gold
And have travelled from afar
Their journey finely
Comes to an end
As they lay their gifts
To a future king

Mary and Joseph
Look upon their son
Knowing they have
The chosen one………..Amen
