10K RUN MY PERSONAL BEST
Stretch my legs and arms
Rub liniment into my thighs and calves
Jog upon the spot
Just starting to warm up
The official calls us to the line
Watches at the ready
Now its time
And we are now in a race
Starting at a steady pace
Three miles gone
I’m doing well
Taking in the scenery
Of the woods and fells
Glance at my watch
I must up my pace
Aiming for a better time
In this race
Another three miles passed
Two and a bit to go
My legs are feeling fine
My mind is focus so
Breathing is in time
Now its time for me to go
Feeling energetic
I see the line
One more big push
I manage to sprint
Making good time
I have broken my PB
It now stands
37minuts dead
I take my self
Off to the showers
Feeling very good
My best race so far
I know I should keep it up
Now off
Home with my medal
With my tube of ready rub
Back into training
For when the next race

Last Saturday I ran the
Last Saturday I ran the Cropwalk, which is a 10k course and a money raiser for hunger programs.
A kid at my church named Reid also ran and came in 2nd (I was a bit back).
The funny thing is that Reid's Dad told him it was 5K and Reid did not find out the truth until he had already started running.

I used to run alot 10k 3k 20ks never use to win but always set out to do my best times 10k was 37min 3 mile was 17min my half marathorn 1hr 21min 23sec and last of all my 5miles pb was 28min 45sec and enjoyed them all.
