People Of The World
People of the World

A Mother's Legacy
Where have all the Good People gone?
The ones who like to share a smile, have a laugh, sing out loud, and whistle a song.
Where have all the Good People gone?
I can't see them, can't hear them, cannot find them, it's been so long.
Everyone’s so bitter, so angry, so me-my-mine, so yours is mine, so mean, so what.
So what?
Where have all the Good People gone?
What about The Children, My Children, Our Children?
What do I?
How do we?
Tell them, show them, teach them 'bout the people of the world.
Where can I bring them where there are good women and men?
Tell me
Where have all the Good People gone?
Where then?
Hear them.
Here now.
Tell me how.
To bring up queens and kings.
And still, where them, I bring?
Where everyone still sings.
Not worn, not torn, not scorn, not pro fain and porn.
Oh how I mourn for where the Good People have gone.
What will become of the once happy children, the innocent ones who laughed out in song?
What will we?
Teach and become
What will them?
What have we?
Taught and become
Will they?
Beseech, distraught, succumb.
How do I?
Teach the children.
How to be?
What will we encourage them to see?
Ensure they do not bow down to you or to me
For money or other things that are ugly
To stand up inside and out loud
Despite the ear full of fearful ,
The naysayers and natives of the black cloud
Love your voice and voice your love
Surely as rare as the dove, it’s a heart that sings proud
Hear them.
Here now.
Tell me how.
To save the children and show them how to be in the world?
How do we teach them and preach them of a nation strong, 'bout a world, 'bout a family, 'bout a people gone so wrong?
If ever they really long,
Tell the Lost Children.
All the truth and Good People of The World went with God.
