Religion

Displayed soul,ready to be sold
searching for the lamb of god.
flesh and bones inside the tomb
straight out of heaven's womb.

Spit your insults to the altar and
let the choir sing your sins.
observe the visions around you,
beyond you darkest vivid dreams.

Moral is the one who keeps his mouth shut,
shivering and crawling like a rat.
Sinner is the one who lets his tongue roll
just like the angel did before his fall.

First man ate the apple,
too arrogant to admit the error.
Now succumbs to decay and
terror.

First woman listened to the snake,
embraced death and became fake.

Jericho is still standing.
Babel tower never fell.
Sad the endings we attached
bitter tales the ones we tell.

What if what I see is not the truth but
just the lies of some.
Am I wasting my youth for
a doomsday that will never come?

Once ripe then rotten,
buried and forgotten.

Jericho's walls will never fall
Sodoma and Gomorra are thriving
The tower of Babel still stands tall
and sinners are surviving.

Heaven can await
Hell can burn me whole
stained my fait
I adopt a humble role.

Drop dirt to cover my corspe
when the day of regards is here.
paint my wounds in the color of a rose and
hope another body will relinquish your fear.
