Star alone shining! I long to open my heart so your light can pierce the darkness of my soul as it does the darkness of your night. You shine among others just as I stand here among many who may also have a desire to know the inner beauty only you can see. But if I am not alone in my calling out to you as you are not alone in the darkness; how then can I know you hear me and that you are "the" star? And how can you separate my voice from all the others if indeed you are the only light for me? It is for that reason then that I must remain quiet. For if there is a light that can penetrate my darkness, it will come only through the silence.
