Inner Tranquility

I like it here
Under this tree
Enjoying the last
Of the summer’s heat
A gentile cooling breeze
Tussles my hair
The slightest hint
Of moisture in the air
I lay here contently
As the world passes by
With scarcely a care
Of the struggles of life
Cars honk their horns
In frustration and haste
Defining the city’s
Impetuous pace
Still I remain
Quietly observing
In a dream-like state
Ingesting my surroundings
Passionately I rest here
Immersed in such peace
Obliviously happy
Completely at ease

I'm feeling relaxed now!

Wow, I have only just got up, but the feeling of relaxation that you portray in this poem, makes me feel like going and having a lie down, a lovely poem, I enjoyed it a lot.
