You Gotta Believe
There is some good in everyone
Everyone has some hope
Hope of living a glories life
And knowing how to cope.
Coping with life's ups and downs
Sharing love with everyone they see
Capable of giving a hug freely
Not worry what's in it for me.
Bickering is not an option anymore
Nor is cursing, fussing or fighting
No need to go find the cops
Or no need to put it in writing.
Violence itself is out the window
Weapons are buried in the grave
Parents are the real role models
And children know how to behave.
Television is all so positive
Sports are easy to play
Everyone dance the tango of love
And life always stays that way.
Weddings are very sacred and intact
And marriage last forever
Cheating is not even an option
Not if, not maybe, but never.
Can you imagine such a life
Can this world be conceived
You could if you did as I do
Baby, you gotta believe.

Very Interesting, But how
Very Interesting, But how can such a world be accomplished without impeding the rights of the individual? TV always being positive for instance, human beings all have a dark side but our morals keep them in check most of the time, censoring television and not being free to acknowledge that side of us isn't the answer in my opinion. But I do really like this, very thought provoking, Thanks

I don't think we all have a dark side, just make the wrong choices. Maybe the wrong friends, past let downs, lack of inspiration, or knowledge of God and His Blessings. As far as television goes, people watch too much of it anyway. Rather then allowing tv to define us, we could try learning from God's Word. I started reading as a child and as the bible says, "Train a child in the way he should go, and he will not depart from it". I believe that and all others should also. The thing I like most about poety is the inspiration it gives. Not every poem represent a trial that person has encounted, but most aim to inspire... I'm trying to inspire all to believe, even in what you say... the impossible. Thanks for the comment.
