Without You, Where Would I be
You... grounded me
& always stood by my side.
You wrapped your arms around me
When no one else would.
You tucked me in every night
Even if I made you mad in the light.
You kept me smiling
Even when my plans failed.
You've been my friend
When others turned their backs.
You took time to listen
When even my mother wouldn't.
You gave me food and shelter
You showed me love
In every sense of the word.
That was ultimately genuine.
You... you... you... It's always you.
Without you... where whould I be.
How about... Lost.
