Self discovery,
Simply, came to me
Clear out of the blue
Like a light shining through
It burst right out
Rid me of doubt
That, this girl felt
From, cards that were dealt
Along the way
Now, I’m okay
I searched my soul
And, I feel whole
Out of my heart
Came a brand new start
I can’t believe
What I’ve received
This special dream
Of self esteem
Feels so good
I knew it would
My new attitude
Is of gratitude
I’d like to pause
And give applause
There’s always time
For a life sublime
Simply, came to me
