And now it’s time
To close your eyes
You drift far away
Into the open skies
Never have you looked
This peaceful before
Awaiting the arms
Of Gods open door
A kind of smile
Offered, upon your face
You have always had
Such style and grace
I hear silent whispers
Swirl around my head
And “I love you”
Is what you said
Sweet kisses gather
And land on my lips
I see tiny hearts fall
Off your fingertips
Love is all around you
It’s music to my ears
And out of your eyes
Flow, only golden tears
I glance to see
You float away
And your hand extends
Towards me, to say…
“My tender heart
Will wait for you
Love is forever
I know this is true.”

linda, i know how hard this must have been to write beside experience. What has always helped me is knowing this:
"God is prevy to ALL things that happen, but not directly responsible for making them happen that way"

It was heartbreaking to write, Dave. I am sure any parent could relate to this womans pain. It seems her spirit has been broken forever. I know mine would. Everytime I think of her or see her I get such a heavy heart and I find myself tearing up.
