A love blood red and so extreme
a hue no doubt,
ever, seen.
My lungs inhale you
and draw you close,
The light inside me
surely, glows.
These flames within
dream orange and gold,
My heart, my love
for you to hold.

I have now read many of your pieces and commented on all of them. I don't dislike this piece but I also feel that it is not up to your usual standards. Somehow it sounded greeting card generic to me and your talent runs deeper than that my beloved friend.

maybe im slipping because its summer...i dont know, but i must admit, this poem took me all morning to write. and im going to be honest with you. i like it...alot! maybe because it has a special meaning for me.
but i am glad you gave me your honest opinion. i would hate to have you say you liked it if you didnt.

I found this to be a very sweet and dreamy piece. My favourite line was 'A love blood red.....'
